Sera t-il candidat ou pas aux prochaines élections présidentielles de 2025 ? Le président ivoirien Alassane Dramane Ouattara semble avoir définitivement clos ce débat qui taraude les esprits en Côte d’Ivoire.
Alors que des leaders de son parti, des ministres et plusieurs proches plébiscitent et incitent l’actuel Président ivoirien à se représenter pour briguer un quatrième mandat, Alassane OUATTARA ne partage visiblement pas cette ambition.
Selon un média local proche du pouvoir, le premier magistrat ivoirien aurait désigné son successeur pour représenter son parti le Rassemblement des Houphouetistes pour la Démocratie et la Paix (RHDP) lors des élections présidentielles prévues pour octobre 2025.
Dans sa parution de ce lundi 25 mars, le journal « Le Nouveau Réveil » affirme que Alassane Ouattara aurait fait fuiter le nom du candidat du RHDP lors de son récent voyage à Paris. Et ce n’est personne d’autre que l’actuel vice président KONÉ Tiémoko Meyliet.
Si cette information se confirmait, le grand boulot sera maintenant à l’actuel Président de chercher le consensus autour de ce choix et surtout convaincre les cadres de son parti qui voulaient à tout prix que ADO soit de nouveau candidat à sa propre succession.
