Le sort de celle qui détient le record du Bénin en heptathlon,suscitait de vives inquiétudes depuis sa disparition en Normandie (France) le 10 septembre dernier. Mais plus de peur que de mal, elle a été retrouvée en vie.
Odile Ahouanwanou est rentrée chez elle dans la nuit du jeudi 26 au vendredi 27 septembre a annoncé la Police Nationale de la Seine-Maritime en France. La police avait lancé le 17 septembre dernier un appel à témoins, car elle n’avait plus donné signe de vie depuis le 10 septembre. Ce jour là, à Sotteville-Lès-Rouen elle avait laissé son enfant à l’assistante maternelle le matin. Les supputations ont commencé quand elle n’est pas revenue le chercher. Âgée de 33 ans, licenciée au Stade Sottevillais, elle a été finaliste des mondiaux de Doha (Qatar) en 2019. C’est à cette occasion qu’elle a battu le record du Bénin.
