Match amical Côte d’Ivoire Vs Bénin: les Guépards tiennent tête aux champions d’Afrique

Ce samedi 23 mars à Amiens (France), l’équipe nationale de football du Bénin affrontait celle de la Côte d’Ivoire, championne d’Afrique depuis le 11 février dernier. A l’issue de la rencontre les deux sélections se sont séparées sur le score de 2-2.

Ce match entre les Guépards et les Eléphants,était très attendu. En effet, c’était la première rencontre livrée par les Éléphants depuis qu’ils ont remporté l’édition 2023 de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations (CAN) sur leurs propres installations le 11 février dernier face aux Super Eagles du Nigéria. Les retrouvailles entre les deux formations plus de 4 ans après leur dernière rencontre le 06 septembre 2019, a eu lieu ce samedi 23 mars au stade de La Licorne à Amiens (France). C’est d’abord,le Bénin qui a ouvert le score dès la 8ème minute par Junior Olaitan. A la 29ème minute, Max Alain Gradel égalise sur coup franc pour la Côte d’Ivoire. A la mi-temps, les deux équipes sont rentrées aux vestiaires sur un score de 1-1. Quelques minutes après l’entame de la seconde période à la 51ème minute précisément,le Bénin a repris à nouveau l’avantage par le biais d’un but de Junior Olaitan qui signait ainsi un doublé. Mais moins de 20 minutes plus tard, c’est Oumar Diakaté qui remet les pendules à l’heure pour les champions d’Afrique. Ce but est intervenu à la 69ème et sera le dernier de cette rencontre. Pour leur première sortie depuis qu’ils ont été sacrés champions d’Afrique, les Éléphants n’ont pas perdu. Quant aux Guépards du Bénin, ils peuvent se targuer du fait d’avoir tenu la dragée haute à l’équipe championne d’Afrique en titre. Cette opposition entre les deux sélections nationales était un match amical. Le prochain match du Bénin aura lieu le 26 mars prochain face au Sénégal.
